This website was founded by our president, Sebastian Pole. It shares the traditional, scientific and practical insights of experienced herbalists and health experts, and aims to spread knowledge of how plants can support sustainable health and improve society’s cultural relationship with healing plant foods and medicines.
Earthsong Seeds is based in the Chew Valley, in North Somerset. It was co-founded by our President, Sebastian Pole, and has a mission to empower people to take greater control of their health and well-being by growing their own herbs and making their own herbal preparations. They produce and sell organic herb seeds.
Jekka McVicar was been President of our Group for many years, until she stepped down at the end of 2024. Her herbetum, north of Bristol, displays the largest collection of culinary herbs in the UK.
