Our 2025 outing was to Watercress Farm, the rewilding project adjacent to the Belmont Estate in North Somerset, with the option to visit nearby Cleeve Nursery (now closed) to look round and have lunch or coffee beforehand.

The Belmont Estate has been reimagined in the last decade and is now a regenerative farm, using its profits for nature recovery and community and conservation projects. One of these is the rewilding and rewetting project at adjacent Watercress Farm. We had a guided tour of various developing habitats at Watercress Farm, including woodland and wetland areas.
